Only 4 months hanging by my fingernails should be fine and dandy. Just a helpful suggestion from the peanut gallery. We have never done Falls Creek Rd. It ends just before the now sadly closed Blue Duck Inn, with their brilliant trout lunches. It's that good; the only time I travelled down it in someone else's car, I got Car Sick. The views of the Mountain Ash Trees are pretty impressive as well.
 
And if you're going up it, once you're onto the high plains there's an unmarked bend just over the lip of a blind crest that will catch you out and you might end up in the alpine meadow ... and hit a large boulder - someone forgot to install the left arrow and 40kph advisory speed sign ... feel free to AMHIK!

Nice rd up from Mnt beauty & across the top…… but she’s a goat track down to the Glen Valley. But well worth it for the run back up to Eskdale for a hard earned froffy 🍻
