CIMAA and Club Laverda NSW Rego day BBQ next Sunday 24 th November, Silverwater Park under Silverwater bridge. Come and get your rego inspection, catch up with friends, coffee van will be there, and the weather will be splendid! See you there. Marty

Great turnout, felt way hotter than 28c. More like the 35c they predicted for Sydney's west today. Dropped the bloody Atlas in the backyard again. I lowered the seat by reducing the rear shock preload, and now the side stand is too long and holds the bike too vertically. It tipped over off the side stand, so it needs maybe 20mm cut-off. So much for its really nice powder-coated finish

63 coffees sold so at least 64 people as you don't drink coffee eh Vince!

Yes, was a good turnout with plenty of nice bikes to look at and owners to talk to. Did 600K round trip and like Vince said it felt hotter than it was especially as I ground my way out of Sydney in the traffic. The bike loved it once we hit the freeway and I just rattled along at slightly over the speed limit 😂

My pick of the bike of the day was a Frankenstine Ducati bevel green frame lookalike. It started as whatever the owner had in the shed, an 860 front part of a frame, a late model rubber belt engine drew my attention first as it had an oil cooler, much modified whatever exhaust including a muffler from a 2 into 1 stain tune on one side and a standard muffler on the other, a stunning 25litre Alloy Imala fuel tank with Bevel fairing and rear seat, a pair of Koni adjustable shocks graphed onto a set of mazocci piggyback reservoirs some job of work that, a couple of Kehan flat slides off Dirtbikes all put together like a green frame replica and built like it came from the Ducati factory. Brilliant job.

There were 2 Magni Guzzis there with a couple of wild swingarms designed as well. Really good fun checking the bikes out and chatting with the owners. BBq was great as well and I bought the last 3xl T-shirt available.
