Club Laverda NSW Brekky run 11th October

Brekky run to the General Store at Burrawang

Meet 8.30 at the Caltex servo Heathcote, heading south to Waterfall, old highway to Bulli, back onto the main highway to the turnoff to Albion Park. Up Macquarie Pass to Burrawang. Return via the Southern Highlands. This is always a popular cafe so I will need numbers to book a table.

Warmed up on the CIMAA run this morning good to see was not the only Lav there

So post then modify later huh OK now I get it sounds like what is happening somewhere else  making history up to suit it seems. Meanwhile back to where we were so in the end we had 9 starters ... 6 Laverda, 2 Ducati and the obligatory BM ... nice subdued run until Marty and Carlos near had a head one wiht a tin top moron who decided that driving on the wrong side of the road to pass the dam peloton was a good idea. whats with all these pedal pushers in Licra who dont pay a dam cent in road taxes... anyways disaster avoided and one we went.. a show trip for some down the boring princess meant I lost the lead pack but after ensuring the others made it through town I set off on the drummer chasing the others managed to catch them up about 3/4 the way up the pass.
Nice meal at the general store though with Covid and new ordering via the phone it was only the young-un's such as Marty who got it ... the rest of us cavemen pretty much had to go old school.
Trip home was well lets say for the most traffic... and once again team each for the own managed to leave Marty way laid but he got home Ok.
Must say that riding long side el capitan ( aka tree hugger ) with sun hitting the bike that blue was so preadolescent with the flakes shining through
( yep we had a cracking sunny day until we near could not see through some fairly dense smoke from low water supply due to Carlos's bust water pipe but that is another story )

As for the lycra brigade, blaming them for some turkey moron overtaking them when it wasn't safe is like blaming a woman for being raped - 'she was askin' for it'.

I rarely ride in a 'peloton' but do wear lycra, and pay around $1500 a year in rego/road tax for a car, a camper trailer and a moto.

Yep idiot it the car was at fault not the bikes, if he had of waited to get around the corner he could have overtaken the bikes safely.

Seem to remember that twas Chris and myself who were waiting for you lot then you all just roared past us on the side of the road at the end of the twisty stuff...  how rude.
Then later you gave a some feeble excuse that your clutch was sticking ... hmm get rid of that dam gay extension son and you wouldn't have any more clutch issues. Anyone can be fast in a straight line..

Thats TC with his visor up, im on the six plugger.  I really enjoyed the bruxner, but stopped a couple of times to take it in.
