Club Laverda NSW brekky run north, 15th May

Well phew glad I made it even for even a short time, ( bit busy this weekend after yesterday acquiring another triple albeit a 120…)
As you can see a massive roll up of Laverda’s so am oh so glad that I made the effort as wow what can one say.. but WOW

Hmm lets see some of the excuses penned to our road skipper … ( seems yesterday on his run someone even turned up in a car ffs now that is real hard core NOT.. ) nail parlour open sorry, slept-in sorry, pottery or glazing class today sorry, need to change my attitude sorry, going to the Mtns in a car sorry, the excuses went on an on and one poor Tom his phone was full of those dam excuses … poor TOM .. but thank you son it was good and just the ticket to clear the head.

Definitely a slow day for Club Laverda NSW thats for sure.
Got to the servo where Pete and I meet and get a text saying he,s been up all night with the shits, poor possum, so doesnt want to stray too far from his porcelain:rolleyes:
Next stop the "Beijing Slip Rd" and another text this time from Stu, Bandito wont start so going back to bed....

Nick had already said he had some rot to cut out of his window plus it was looking overcast so he's a no show.

Get to Berowra and Im all on my lonesome for ages , no one likes that....
Not even Vince turns up, who is usually first there.

Finally Chris turns up and then Brett.... thank fuck for that!
As Brett has to be home early I decide to just stop at Gerry's rather than go all the way to Laguna.
Place is packed with HD riders looking ever so mean.....
However good coffee a nice bacon and egg roll and a heap of good chit chat, or crack as the Irish say...

Way back Chris and I go via Spencer, now that was a shit load of fun, such a lovely rd,🙂🙂(y) stop at spencer for a ciggy and to
congratulate ourselves on taking this route..🙂🙂
And also to wonder why Brett had to get back so quickly....Poetry class perhaps....

Then went through the road closed sign and continued to the ferry.
lovely ride home, not one drop of rain, mission accomplished.
As Brett said, The nail parlours must have been flat out today....
heres a shot of the two musketeers at Spencer.

I think Marty , next time you decide you have something better to do, best just dont tell anyone....🙂

Sunset at shipleys plateau, west of Blackheath, very cool spot. Second was today after some rain at Wentworth Falls. There are some great places in the blue mountains, found Anvil Rock lookout, wow! Puts the Grand canyon into perspective.

No, I admitted to needing some motivation to go for a ride. I have a cunning plan to hopefully achieve that. It's just been constant miserable weather, a mud pit of a reward, how my spell check got reward from YEARD I have no idea, to cross plus family stuff. It's just been a bit too hard lately. Poor poor me.

I do enjoy you blokes ride reports and pics and always happy to see a good group of Lavs but am surprised by that comment TC.
Personally, I love riding by myself....................
Nah, I prefer riding with mates but am happy to be alone as well.
But in this case I was just waiting at the servo for others to turn up.
Tom no mates seemed appropriate......
