Canowindra weekend 24/25th April



Staying at the Royal Hotel, 75 Gaskill Street Canowindra NSW 2804



This was an awesome weekend last year. This year is open to any colour bike not just orange! Need to know numbers so we can book the pub. Tom has promised me a hot shower this year!



Meet 8.30am BP North Richmond.

Vanilla on Main st Lithgow for brekky.

Lake Lyell, Sodwalls rd to Tarana, Mutton Falls rd to O’Connell, Right into O’Connell rd, left into Beaconsfield, right into O’Connell Plains rd. Right into Lagoon rd, left into Vale rd, right into Trunkey rd, right at the T, right into Wimbledon rd, Gladstone Hotel newbridge for lunch.
Newbridge rd to Blayney, Carcoar, Canowindra

Total 350ish km



Sunday



Blayney fuel.

Barry, Trunkey Creek, Crookwell, lunch. Fuel. Crown Theatre Cafe

Crookwell to Goulburn, Marulan on the freeway, Wingello, Bundanoon, Mittagong vis old south rd to thirlmere, home.

Im guessing Brett to, but after the load of 4x2 Oregon I dropped at his house today he may be getting stuck into his shed... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

So
Ive been trying to sort out our accomodation.
Seems there are seasonal workers staying at our hotel at present so its going to be tight.
Ive been assured that we can fit in but it looks like the single rooms will be doubtful.
If anyone can't make it for any reason could they please let me know.

Dealing with John the publican does require some patience, but he came up trumps last time.

There is another hotel in Canowindra so if a single room is a deal breaker maybe that's worth a try?

Less than 4 weeks to go, but hey who's counting....

Think you mean Bells Line not Putty, is there a petrol station at Glenbrook on the left heading up. There is a Caltex I just checked There are road issues heading to Jenolan Caves so we should check for any other issues, the pot holes will be epic.
 
Just had a look at the calendar, Monday is Anzac Day so I bet my left ball they call this a long weekend and Instigate Double Demerits for all 3 days. Just saying, we have done Double Demerits rides before so its not a deal breaker.
 
So this year Anzac day is on the Sunday, so NSW will not be having a long weekend and therefore no double d's, I checked.
Second thing to be happy for is accommodation has come through and we do have a couple of single rooms so that sounds all good (y)
Third thing to be happy for is its only two weekends away🙂🙂🙂
 
I just had another look at my Calendar, your correct Tom. It's always held on THE CORRECT DATE and that falls on Sunday, on my calendar it says Monday is the Anzac day holiday, and in small writing and bracketed Not all States. My fuckup. Must read the small print. Good result for us.
 
Only 1 lane in a few spots with traffic controls, at least its sn option.Traffic on the hwy would be bad

Qld has Monday off as a public holiday.

Hang on ......... maybe not The LaverdaForum calendar doesn't show that??
