This year we will again be meeting up with the QLD Club at Walcha. The proposal is to take Thunderbolts up to Walcha, and return via the Oxley highway, taking in the Bulahdelah bends on the way home.

Dinner has been booked at the Apsley Arms Hotel, Walcha. If you haven't already booked your room at the Royal Cafe, now is the time. There is overflow accommodation at the New England across the road, however that is where the QLD Club are staying.

Contact me once you have booked, so we can secure numbers for dinner.

Cheers
Martin

Even when I rev the SFQ to redline - where it vibrates rather a lot - with the Air Hawk in place I can't feel any vibes through my arse. On a long haul it's worth every penny i paid for it.

I'm also about to swap the std aftermarket closed cell foam I used in the seat with high density latex. A mattress manufacturer gave me a chunk. Hopefully stops the bones of my arse grounding out of the seat base for the rides where the Hawk isn't preferred..

Must admit, I pumped it up, and felt a little sea sick… old mate told me to reduce the pressure…. dropped it to the point where it just lifted my arse of the seat.. game changer

Problem for me is the truck seats these days have an annoying lip under the back of the thigh/ inside knee, Hawk takes that away.

I’ve read Vince’s reports on them on a bike, with scepticism, but I may well buy one for the bikes
