Meeting from 9am at the usual place, Silverwater Park carpark western side of Silverwater  bridge. Coffee van organised for 9.30, free brekky to the usually high standards, and heaps of your mates to chat to. The weather will be perfect. Don?t forget to check all your lights work, the horn beeps, and the tyres are in good condition.

See you there

Marty

Nice to see the blokes, its been a while. Its been Feb since I last rode the bike, and it took a few ks to remember not to strangle the bars.Less twitchy with a light touch. So many 81 Jotas these days, I cannot tell them apart. The NSW Laverda Club is really expanding, we used to be lucky to get 4 at a club night, I didnt do a count but we were the most Maque there. Probably a lot to do with That Queensland bloke.Made quite a sight the 4 81s leaving close together giving it a bit, till the 180-degree wet hairpin at the end of the car park caused more restraint. The CIMA blokes do a fantastic job at organising this day. Great bunch of blokes.

I counted 16 Lavs, a new record?  Did anyone take a photo?

Our erstwhile travelling Editor, Dave was happy snapping 10 to the dozen, even got me to posse the bike when I left, lots of wobbling as I left from lack of practice.

Agree Vince those series 2 '81 Jotas are becoming quite common - I counted only 3 leaving together - mine, the fourth, is a series 1 '80  8) :D

Club plate day, bloody good roll up and good to catch up with quite a few folk. Now was all set to take the Cico as was told the theme was Orange series 2 Jota?s ( and twas under strict instructions to so...  but just as went to leave suddenly realised it was out of rego, hmm plan B but of so was the red 3C, plan C oh and the silver series 1 Jota has a missing indicator. Hmm so had to go to plan D 😷 Now nothing like a taking along drummer to rain on a Jota parade sorry Tom maybe next time 😷

Good day our but and the drummer sure loves the the cold air and throwing some color in among all that Orange and Red. Marty picked a great table to write my rego's out  :o

Nice sight and sounds along Silverwater rd with 4 Jotas singing their tune, felt good to be part of it.Once the new tunnel opens in Pennant Hills, the 180?s need to test out the acoustic qualities of this new piece of bitumen..
