For those starting Friday at Wilberforce I'll be coming in the Falcon wagon so I can take your gear in it, for those starting Saturday if you can get your gear to me by Thursday it too can go in the car too. I live at Ashbury, pm for address.
Busted rib so no bike ride for me.

Thanks Chris, I have no idea how my bike will handle loaded up so will know by the meeting point and make up my mind. With Double Demirts it will be a cruise.

There is a last moment change in starting point for Fridays departure, we had a chat at tonight's club night and from reports, The Putty is not worth the detour with road works so we are starting at 8am at Estuary restaurant, Kangaroo Point, Brooklyn just down from The Pie in The Sky on The Old Road and then up The Pacific Hwy to the start of Bucketts Way and the rest as above. All should get a text about this. See you all there.

Bit of an update from my rally experience. I bought one of those 30-second erectable tents for this coming trip, my original Black Wolf tent is fantastic, with aluminium poles and all the bells and whistles, good enough for a couple of weeks at Everest base camp but takes a good 45 minutes to put up and down and I wanted one that would work on multiday trips easier. The issue with this 30-second tent is its very big storm flaps over the zips and I jammed one of the zips trying to get into it in the drizzling rain. It got caught and stuck and eventually broken with my pulling on it in the rain too hard and in the dark. Today a post popped up on guess where with a zipper repair product. It kit has the movable part of the zipper openable and removable and closable on a snap gadget apparently allowing it to interact with your broken zipper and get zippers to start working again. I will be ecstatic if this cheap easy gadget actually fixes it. I loved the easy and clever design of this tent till this happened. BTW I don't care where it was made so don't go there.
