Removed the snap ring holding the clutch hub onto the input shaft on the 74 SF2 but it doesn't seem inclined to release. Give it a sharp rap to shock it loose from the splines? Always like knowing what other people do before I mung something up from ignorance.

can be a bit tight - a puller should remove it.  Or Try some heat - either a blowtorch or pouring hot water over it - do make sure no petrol about first1 - regards - Phil

Used a homemade puller.
A metal bar across the shaft's end with holes to 2 opposite
m6 threads in the hub.
Screwed in 2 m6 bolts with counternuts.
Tightened the counternuts equally against the bar
and that's it.
