Clutch Plates

Does anybody know how many friction and steel plates are used in 500, 750 and Zane clutches and which one starts the stack? My green book says 13 plates for triples. I had a look through the Atlas parts book and it says 11 plates. 6 of one and 5 of the other and there the same plate for 750s.

I am rebuilding a 650 Zane and a 500 engine this winter. Now both in parts.
650 has 8 friction plates and 7 steel.
The 500 has 6 versus 5
See the pictures. Some parts from the 650 and 500 are (almost) the same. Clutches are not.

So from what I hear these days the replacement plates available now fit 500, 750, Zanes and Atlass and the plates are all the same. Just different numbers of plates for different models. From the Atlas parts book it's 11 plates, 6 friction and 5 steel.
The same for 500s
Dont know about 750s
668 from above 15 plates 8 friction and 7 steel
