clutch rubbers

Hello everyone, question about the clutch rubbers.
I am replacing the primary chains and also want to replace the clutch rubbers, but as shown in the photo, the old ones are mounted this way. Is this the correct way? My gut feeling tells me that they should be the other way around, but of course my gut feeling could be wrong. Nothing surprises me anymore with this RGS, because I have already encountered several clumsy and wrong things.

How I remember it is: which way is the sprocket driving the mainshaft and hence which side do you want the cush effect?

There is no other way possible.

rubbers come with a radius on one side of the rubbers inner hole form, the radius goes face down
you cannot stuff up

It could also be the other way around, but the rubbers are old, so there is a little more play. New ones are on their way. There is a round side and a straight side to the rubbers. My"feeling" is that the round side should face downwards for mounting purposes?

Thank you, Claudio. Paul and Red also provided the correct method.

So, the new rubbers are fitted. Whereas the old ones fell out and could even be fitted upside down, I had to fight a bit to get the new ones in. I won in the end . All in all, it was no luxury to fit new ones. I also replaced the primary chains, which fortunately I managed to do without any special tools.

In case you haven't yet buttoned everything up... secure the bolts of the clutch/mainshaft stay with Loctite and torque to 10Nm. These have a tendency to work themselves loose.
