Clutch slave cylinder

I just did a clutch slave cylinder rebuild. It was a 35mm piston which I'm told is an odd size. It's in a 1979 30th Anniversary 1200 - the first with a hydraulic clutch I'm told, can anyone confirm if this was the standard size on this model. Also there was no spring behind the piston, was this normal?? Thanks for the help.

Ditto, I was advised to bin the spring and clutch works fine without it- I resealed mine using a seal ring from a local bearing/oil seal supplier-cost pennies which offset the extortionate cost of a new rubber boot-spent ages trying to find an alternative source for the boot as it resembles the boots that fit on drum brake hydraulic cylinders-sadly never found one so coughed up to Mr Slater before he ceased trading.
