Agree about the silencers - even aftermarket ones are fugly shapes. I've made the SFQ system as rounded and classic as I could. Wouldn't pass a modern noise reg in a fit of Sundays of course.

I have no real experience of stapling arses to fencing - although there was a case of a local who stole a quad bike who was nail gunned to a pile of pallets - variations upon a common theme.
 
old workmate mate on mine served on subs-did a bit of time in scotland and snuck under the polar cap to listen to the russki,s,name was adrian sellars,hes 70 odd, reckon you might of run in to him terry?
 
Sorry, the name doesn't ring a bell. One of the boats I was on ran out of Faslane in Scotland, we also went under the ice, the boat was fitted with an upward-looking echo sounder!

that reminds me of a guy I used to know..... he used to eat KFC every fuckin day... he's a fat bastard now!
 
I know a fat bloke who used to east McDonalds at least five times a week (he is single) , he caught Covid in Nov 2020, he was hospitalized, and been there ever since, had two strokes and a brain bleed, and a few moments where if he was not in hopital he would have died, he now has a shunt (his second one installed) and is about to be transfered to a long term nursing home, not even 65 y/o, he was about 22 stone on admittance and is now around 10 stone, there is almost no hope left.

If you are going to eat shit food don't be fat, I am fat but I eat good food (which is just as bad).

My wife is in aged care .............. they hate craning people from bed to dunny. They seem to break a dunny every week, not caused by the crane but by the sheer weight imparted on the porcelain when the resident is un-craned.

Speaking of weight, I'm back at the gym each morning. (96Kg, a 12Kg gain, after being away for nearly two years) 🍟🍕🍻🍔🍷

Yesterday I hit 89.5Kg. Just another 6Kg to go 🍏🍐🍌🥦🍷🍷🍷and I'm a happy boy.

What do they say??? The equivalent of extra 1hp per 1kg removed.
 
I was wondering why they don't use motorcycle engines on those chainsaws. I was thinking something like Hayabusa or ZX14 because they're light and powerful. Then some turkeys appeared with a fucking Harley-engined saw.
