excellent vid, and interesting to see the "original" engine at 0:54 :D
Seems that a Puch made its way into his shop as well, never seen a Puch in the States before.

Wow! I never knew that automated writing gizmo existed. Pretty damn impressive that it was built at a time when Captain Cook was charting the east coast of Australia.
I'm a bit of a philistine when it comes to art, but as a mechanical engineer, that is art I can appreciate.

Strange how things can be much older than you imagine, 1850's for early FAX machine to enable text over distance.
Supplanted by wider availability of speech over distance.
Resurgence of text over distance via phone and forums.
Gesture activation by motion sensor now more commonplace.
What's next?
Semaphore anyone.

Great vids Madz and Gerald. Thanks for posting.  :D

While looking through the Chonday website that Gerald posted I came across this superb paintball video.
Don't dismiss it just because it is paintball.
The action, Slomo and music are just brilliant and just shows what can be put together these days with small cameras such as a Gopro Hero 3.
Enjoy!  :D
