I agree with one of the comments:
"is it weird that i feel a bit emotional right now ?
i mean seeing how these people in harmony and happy makes me restore faith in humanity."

It would appear to have worked...

"Behold Swincar: A car that moves like a nimble spider, and with independent suspension and a motor for each of its four wheels, can tackle just about anything in its path."

Very uncool video, if you dare watch Guy Martin break his back, ribs and sternum yesterday while leading the Ulster GP:
To be honest I think he was a bit lucky! A couple of feet to the left and it would have been him hitting the padded tree and not the bike.
Looks like he lost the rear end initially (in more ways than one I suspect).

Guy Martin before his recent accident, ("I'm on the mend - few upgrades to me hand & back but feel right enough. All part of the job. Thanks very much for the support as always.") driving the Ferrari FXX. 0-62mph in 2.4 seconds. His reaction in the last two minutes is priceless.
"How does that compare to motorbikes, then?"
"That is the fastest thing I've been on or in. I'm shekkin'"
:D

Fascinating/scary/creepy 50 year old film of Honda production.
Wonder how it compared at the time to Brit/German/Italian production methods.
Wonder too how different it is today.

I've had two of those little Honda S800s, they're great little cars.  I've had a few of those CB450s too.  The early four speeders were nice and quirky.  As much as I love the early Hondas I could only have one alongside a Laverda, never instead of a Laverda.

Some neet ideas for the next OZ rally. Would like to see if we could combine the stupid dancing seagull with this somehow....

Looks simple enough. A basketball and a milk churn with a touch hole drilled in it. Add some calcium carbide and water to make acetylene, and bobs your uncle.

Acetylene is a good propellant because it's not fussy about the air-fuel ratio. It'll explode at any concentration between about 3% and 98% so you can't go wrong. Perfect for that sort of bucket chemistry  :D
