Cooler Flush

I hope it's off the bike!
I'd use any sort of solvent, petrol would be ideal and whatever, blow out with an air line when done.

I'd use kerosene (paraffin) rather than petrol, and once it comes out clean put some oil through to help clear out any remaining solvent.
Cheers,

I also use paraffin. Cooler upside down, pipes in the air. Fill her up and let it soak. Gurgle (agitate) it by blowing air in (as aggressively as possible without creating a fountain) both forwards and backwards. Shake it about. Drain and then run some modest pressure compressed air through.
This assumes its not fully blocked of course and you are just being nice n' careful with the rebuild.
