Not sure whether "blasoned" is complimentary or derogatory but I think it looks good. No frame or engine number that I can see though,
The asking price seems high and not sure if this might be a mixture of GT and GTF parts to assemble what we see but it certainly is pretty.
Frame looks like S/SF with later S or SF side panels, perhaps it was a SF/GTF frame with earlier GT parts? Later round-clutch-bung motor cover too.
In reality, if we don't get too hung up on these rivet-counting details it is a nice looking bike.
A bike from way back then may have had some updates, modifications for usability, repairs from accident damage.
If somebody buys it at that price and rides it then that's a good thing - helps keep our parts and service suppliers in business even if the bike may not be exactly as it left the factory.

Optical illusion, caused by the cab sav.
Which is why I’m reluctant to start working on the Tasman sea for Chris, never mind the difficulty with transportation when the water is gone 😉
 
For sale:
1 series GT frame with metal shrouded fork and matching numbers engine, tank and side panels. Probably a couple of wheels to go with it. No docs.
