Cracked crankcase breather housing ?

I've had a minor weep around the circular part of the crankcase breather ( getting worse) or I should say I think its coming from there .

I've found another, albeit a bit ugly looking atm. This one has strengthening ribs which would suggest Laverda had instances of this item cracking prior to the upgrade.

Am I thinking along the right lines?

No idea, but is your ball still bouncing?

Someone once said a good test for that rubber breather ball's ability to seal was to try and bounce it; a hard ball was a bad ball. It would take some insane crankcase overpressure to crack that breather container.

I wondered where you were going with that Vince.
However, if it is cracked, its unlikely pressure that causes it but vibration, harmonics etc.
