Crashed Jota on Ebay

From the description and pics provided, it needs the frame checking and straightening, plus clocks, headlight, RH silencer etc etc.
History unknown, so may be an 'easy fix' (haha!) or a veritable money pit.
However, some will see it as a 'cheap' entry into Jota ownership - with tears soon to follow... 😢

It looks like it may have already had a little altercation with something before its latest trip down the road. The tank is an earlier one and the headlamp brackets etc have been replaced. Would have been a good buy at £50 ha ha!

Any bike needing restoring is a money pit.
Bids have already gone above a vaguely viable project and too high for a spares bike.

All that glitters is not gold.
Follow the yellow brick road....

Good for you CamilleL, if you win it keep in touch, lots of help to be found here!
Hmm, northern winter on the way, could be a good project as those long nights draw in 😁

Must’ve made the previous owner pretty upset…
Looking at the forks the frame needs a close look at, especially after seeing Red’s latest project, steering stem could be a time bomb now.

Steering head doesn't need a brick wall to crack it. It does it all by itself.

Gosh. fuck me Paul. It’s like you are Eyore the donkey. Imagine if you were widowed or divorced and you were saying the same thing about a person. What point is there to go on ……. Everything deserves a second chance , maybe something is broken and someone sees the value in bringing it back. Who cares how much the person spends on it as long as they are happy.

I’m reading this to make sure it makes sense , and all I want to say is don’t be such a downer.

On the contrary, I hate to see people suffer.
And it makes my next Laverda more expensive, overpricing.

If you follow Facebook, you'll have seen that a well known British professional Laverda mechanic deemed that very self same machine overpriced when it was £ 2000 less.
But then, I'm not a well known professional British mechanic, so I'm a kill joy.
(and I don't make money out of other people's mistakes either)

Well who would have thought it? £8702 it went for. If you are having trouble selling your Jota then sling it down the road a couple of times. That should get the punters salivating.

Nutters.
Particularly when you know that there's a good running one for £9500 asked in the ILOC small adds.

Camille posted a thread looking for a long life partner or something such so I suggested she? buy a tortoise because they have a long life span. Then it all went dead.
Camille is also a boys name.
Looking for a partner with deep knowledge of Laverda motorcycles and a big bank account if that triple is anything to go by.
