So, there I was working on my gear change cross over today. Measured everything thing ......... looked good. Jumped back into my spares bin and found  :o  I measured wrong  ??? no I didn't, one cross over shaft was about 35mm shorter than the other ............. WTF?
What was the shorter version for? 750 maybe?

Could well be - You could make a long socket and cut and thread the shaft to extend yours -  have done this on one of my bikes - Regards - Phil

Thanks Phil, but as I was using the longer one, I was a tad confused when I pulled out the shorter one. As my swinger pivot axle uses a 12.5mm ID hollow shaft, guess where the 12mm crossover shaft runs through .......... now?

Probably both for 180's, the shorter one is for rear sets, the longer for the forward pegs where the shift lever bolts straight on to the crossover and has to clear the primary case.
