Damn something's missing

just realized that the little metal ring for the choke splitter is missing on my pretty, newly powder coated frame.. how critical is it and did all frames have one? I have an earlier frame than this one (in the photo) that has it but there's no evidence that one was removed from this one...
It's hidden under the tank so I guess I could make and install one and touch up the paint but hate too..

Cable tie round the frame tube is cheaper/quicker.

was worried it wouldn't be sufficient to work as a stop while operating the choke.

My 74 3C never had one. I think they were added later.

No need for it Don.

Guess it was only added to tidy up the under-tank area a bit, to keep the choke cables dangling all over the place.  Doesn't aid choke action.

Pretty sure a cable tie would be cheaper though Red.....just sayin.
