This was well received,so for non ILOCs. Danish director Carl Dreyer of Vampyr,Passion of Joan of Arc, and many others.Petrol stop is interesting. ;)

Loved that! The girl at the petrol station works at Ridlers now, still as sloppy. I think it must have been filmed around Brampton and Porlock because they were all on the wrong side of the road.
The Nimbus was still in use with the Danish post office as late as the early seventies -

What a wild flick! The intensity of the music increased with their velocita. I wondered when it was going to get windy (the road). That dude who nailed them looked suitably evil! Yes, a bit depressing, Marty - but kinda funky!

theres a Nimbus that rides regularly in my local section of the vintage club (VMCC) he is known as Mr McHenry because his is the lookalike of the character in the magic roundabout, (British children's TV 60'2 to v early 90's) but that bike is SLOW, fair turn of grunt from nothing up to about 40KPH, and then creeps up to 55KPH at the most, this is easily detected because using the drop off system you get to follow, rather than pass slower riders, (which you can do if you like)
CLEM

Of the 12.000 Nimbus Type C produced about 4000 are still on the road in Denmark + maybe few hundred outside Denmark + the ones in museums, not registered etc. - quite impressive.

The man in the car that pressed the Nimbus off the road is the Death - typical Carl Th. Dreyer in the films he made.

Funny to se this well known (in Denmark) Film mentioned on this Forum. The Film was recorded here on Fyn (Island in the mittle of Denmark). This Nimbus is driven across Fyn from Assens, the Town where I live and the 75 km to Nyborg on the other side of the Island. I still reccornize some of the roads and places. ;)

Can you ride it in 45 minutes?  :D :D :D

Yess I can do it in 45 minutter. Actually I drive from Assens to Nyborg to work every day. Most of the time in car. Last a bit longer, but on ny RGS 45 minutes  is no problem

170 meters is the highest natural point in Denmark, but they have great roads for driving, and its a super nice country to explore !
