Decal copying

Maurice,
The decals are for a freshly painted SB2 bodywork. I bought decals from overseas that looked new but broke up when applied. I still have 2 which I will get copied.

Sporteous,
Thanks for the link. I have contacted Warwick already and sent him a photo of what I need.

Whatever decals you end up getting, check how "fast" the colour is. I fitted some recently which didn?t tolerate polish. I had to get clear sprayed over them to seal them up.

The Laverdaforum stickers (still available by the way) I had made were thermally printed as the print company said this was the most durable surface printed type.
If they were reverse printed then they would be protected by the clear plastic sheet used, and more glossy.

Tht 'ink' that is used nowadays in the prnters, is by not as good as the stuff that was used in the old days when decals were screen printed.
The decals that i've had made for the V6 replica, I've had laminated to get them fuel and oil resistand.

Another appeal for someone to tell me of a good company to reproduce decals. After trying a Brisbane/ Australia business I need to get someone who can actually copy something correctly and not be aggro about getting it right . Anything good elsewhere.
