Dell'Orto conundrum

Hi Myke + Cam - We replaced the needle jets with emulsion tubes and tapped the air supply hole to take "air corrector jets" to make the D/O's into air bleeding type (modern) carbs, development looked promising, but the "Great fire of Motodd" ended this work - Regards - Phil
 
Hi Lothar - The main reason for doing this was to be able to adjust the shape of the fuelling slope to try and get rid rid of the "rich shift" around the 4,500rpm mark without running weak at top end we did also try some "power jets" that operated at full throttle which worked well, but really only any good for racing as,below 7/8th's throttle there would be a high risk of running too weak
