Dellorto Slides

I rang a shop today that supplies Dellorto parts today and he informed me could not get 60/2 slides and only had either 60/1 or 60/3 slides for 32mm Dell's I believe the second figure 1 or 3 in this case is the details of the accellerator ramp and the first figure 60 represents the cutaway?? can anyone verify if this is correct and has anyone tried either of these slides??
Thanks,
M.

I can confirm it.

The 60 means the cutaway is 6mm so it is a leaner slide than a 50. More gap, less air velocity so it 'sucks' up less fuel to put it simply.

The dellorto tuning guide has the details of the ramps. I'm guessing you are referring to PHF 32's and not PHB as the slide would be irrelevant.

60/1 appears closer to 60/2, but it pumps at a slightly lower throttle opening. More chance of bogging the engine down at lower revs. but it may be fine. I don't know, just sticking to theoretical differences.

Distance from top of slide before ramp starts: (/1 is 10mm) (/2 is 13) (/3 is 2)

Distance until ramp reaches max deviation: (/1 is 20mm) (/2 is 23) (/3 is 30)

I have 60/3 as standard in PHF 36 lean burn carbs on an 850 Lemans III. I have no issue with them but everything is different to you. It would provide a squirt over a longer throttle travel.

Hope this helps.
