Hi,
my friend Math has an question about Delloto carbs, can anyone help him

Hi Andre,

I thought you may know where I could get some information on Dellorto
carbies. I have a VHSB 37 carbie fitted to my motocross bike and I know this
carbie came off a 1988 model Cagiva. However I want to find out when these
VHSB carbies were first manufactured (introduced in the market) as I would
like to fit this to one of my 1981 model Yamaha's. The VHSB carby would have
had to be manufactured (released to the market) before 1981 so it would
comply with the rules.

Do you know any good Dellorto information websites that may be able to help
me with the information?

Thanks a lot
Andre

I don?t know, maybe it is a YZR 125 or 250 cross but the question is whether the carb was build before 1981.

Hey Timmy do you even know what a Dellorto carbie looks like?

Yeap !

Used to to service the suckers .... Do you ?  At  P F Jones (Manchester) and H Marsh and son (Wilmslow).... Before carbs and turbo charging became obsolete .

G'day Andre

I think VHSB carbs are a later model than the original PHF's on our old Laverdas. They seem to have appeared on late 80's era bikes so my guess is they'd be after 1981. Only a guess though.

Cheers,
Cam

Andre, dont let our Timmy put you off. He's more to be pitied than scolded  :D

Thanks a lot from Matth.
