Installing said ignition on the RGS-no spark, double checked switched "+" and "-" connections to module, both good. When checking wiring at module I do not have a "+" output to optical trigger, which wire off the module is the output to the trigger? When researching the HOA1881-12 optical unit it seems to have two voltage inputs: the cathode & detector emitter (brown & red wires). If this is correct, pin #15 on the module is a solid ground and not the 12v output I suspect it should be. LMK if I'm pissing up a rope, any input appreciated.

Brown and red are joined together and go to pin 15

Black goes to pin 4

Orange to pin 3

I assume you're not using Witt supplied sensor where the wiring colours to the superseal connector differ?

Setting 0 will fire the plugs continuously with ignition on to prove supply to DMC and coils is good.

Agree w/ connections & am using stock optical unit. Brown & red are joined together to a black wire to pin #15. Yes, tried position "0" but no continuous spark w/ reluctor turned. What pin from the module is 12v to optical unit?

If no continuous spark, then either wiring to DMC/coils is wrong or the unit duff. Position 0 with volts to a DMC2 (or /32) and coils will give sparks as rotor is turned clockwise and slots align with photocell

I assume kill switch isn't on?!

Do you have 12v at coils?

Using Witt loom colours, brown is pin 4 and yellow pin 3

If everything checks out but still no spark, a replacement photocell is cheap enough from Wolfgang. Or try your DMC on another bike to confirm OK. If not an option, send to Moto Witt for testing.
