DMC ignition live feed

Hi all,
  Just fitted a Witt DMC to the Jota and was wondering where the best place would be to pick up the ignition live and is it best to fit a fuse in that line ?

Take it from the 12V feed to the coils. It's already protected by a fuse (or at least it should be) and is switched via the ignition key switch.

If it is a model originally fitted with the battery ignition, there is a red/white wire ending near the nose of the seat, this is the original supply for the BTZ system.  Just remove the connector housing from the original loom you removed and attach a spade connector and the housing to your feed wire and hook it up. 

If it's a HKZ (CDI) type, find the orange wire coming from the RH handlebar switch block.  This wire is fused through the main supply fuse.

Taking the supply from the ignition switch only, means you are omitting the emergency cut-out switch.

Hi the wiring diagram I have shows the ignition live going to the coils then to the Witt box . the red and white wires come from the original ignition with the coils attached and the other from the pickups .The original ignition unit has been removed so the only red and white is from the pickups ???

Can I use the blue wire that went to the old stop relay this is live when ignition on and also cuts out on the Kill switch ?
