It's time for me to pass the hat round for donations to meet this year's operating costs.

I will put up a PayPal 'Donate' button on Sunday 19 April and take it down once the target is met. You don't need a PayPal account to donate but if you'd prefer bank transfer please message me for account details.

I estimate that GBP 300 is needed to cover the cost of hosting, forum software updates & backup storage for 2026.

We may have a bit of a difficult reputation in some quarters but it's a great site with great people. Sadly we have lost a few characters since covid but without this site I would never have had the pleasure of knowing them at all. Good luck and good health to everyone for the future and long may it continue.
Very philosophical, Pat, but well said

I only do this and ILOC on me phone, nowt else. In my limited experience this forum is as good as it gets; excellent functionality but most important really good, funny and knowledgeable community (refuse to use unnecessary superlatives as everything in life now seems to be amazing or world class).

Well done Rob and team, sorry I missed the cut again.

No, things in life are awesome and iconic.
Except the extent of vocabulary used.
