Drum brake SF1 speedo drive

Has anyone removed the speedo drive assembly / worm drive from an early SF1 with Laverda drum brakes, I assume its an inteference fit and will require a dremmell and chisel / heat to remove it from the hub, I will be fitting new bearings so I am not worried about them. I have just taken the front wheel out of my project bike and the parts are all beyond repair. The drive on the hub is badly damaged and the rest of the assembly is missing, I presume somebody in the past removed the worm gear after it failed and chewed up some other parts. I f anyone has both parts of the drive assembly please message me (UK) I need to crack on with this now the rest of the bike is nearly finished, just made room for it on pone the benches and the front end is next

Just had a thought, is anyone good with part numbers. I have a spare set of wheel for my Monty race bike bike, I dont use the speedo drive on that obviously, does anyone think the drive may be the same as the SF. I know the pick-up arrangement is different but the part fixed to the hub may be the same - I sound desperate now don't I

Copied Clems post from ILOC forum if it helps, for 750s, Montys have ND clocks.

"for Laverda brakes its simple
if the Smiths speedo has digits/600 in the lower portion of the dial it needs12/15 ratio
if the Smiths speedo has digits/1000 in the lower portion of the dial it needs 11/22 ratio

and if ND clocks are fitted (any type bike or clocks) it needs 9/25 ratio"

does anyone think the drive may be the same as the SF.
Unfortunately not. The number of teeth is the same, but the drives from drummers and disc-brake
models differ.
Would be the same between SF2/3 and 500.
40 126 024 Shaft gear
41 112 018 Crown gear

Hi Dave
If it is any help I have a complete SF front wheel. Both helical gears are in great condition the number of teeth on the hub gear is 25 the mating speedo drive gear I can't count without removing it but is obviously the mating part.
Let me know if interested.
Alan.

Hi Alan, yes please, that would be very helpful. As I say, if the rim is good condition and you want to keep it just cut the spokes, I have no use for any of it apart from the gears, if you message me again and tell me a price I have your details - brilliant - thank you
