I do not know whether it is a real Drummer and it is not mine, just saw it in the net.

The only way to confirm if it’s an original Drummer or not is by the frame number. The front brake and some other minor parts are not correct, however these can be easily corrected.
The lack of detail in the advert along with only one photograph that shows the bike in a dirty and tired condition with an unflattering backdrop rings alarm bells to me, I’d be more concerned about authenticity that incorrect parts.
I might even put one of mine up for sale for similar money later in the year and it’s a genuine bike in better condition than that one.
 
Well, apart from the stupid Grimeca people around here seem infatuated with (I had one in my drummer when I bought it) it looks genuine. Engine breather,pre cooler engine, lamp etc look fine. Of course the price is a joke for a neglected bike like that.

Well, the helmet might indicate that it's used in these days of polish and show.

Looks nice to me, I was trying to make out the upper shock absorber position, it looks quite high as they were on the earliest bikes but the pic isn't clear enough to be sure.
 
A side on view would reveal dimple or not on the pri cover and the rear top shock mounts, not much effort put into the sale aproach so I would side with Ian S.

It is possible to view the photo at a decent size. On my PC it looks like a bike that gets ridden. Dimple free chaincase. No idea what I'm looking for on rear shock mounts but they're Konis or similar so again points to a bike that is used. As does a well over-centre centre stand position :( Front tyre BT45. Rather disappointing front brake cable routing, as is the price!

The very very first bikes (50?) had the shock mounts coming horizontally out from the upper frame rail, the later ones were lower.
 
The bike in question was at the Laverda Heftrich meeting on Saturday.
Apparently a barn find. Engine / frame # somewhere in the 1100 range, 2 rib engine case.
The bike is neglected and needs serious work to bring it back to a deserving condition.
Engine sounded good, but we all know how deceiving that can be...

Thanks for the info Gerald, at least it appears to be a genuine bike that has surfaced and has most of the correct parts. It’s hard to put a value on a Drummer but the price expectation for this example appears a bit optimistic. They are desirable bikes and lovely bikes to ride but from my experience you can easily spend that sort of money again bringing a wreck back from the dead.
