Never seen them before, how do you adjust the spring preload?There is a risk of damaging the rubber bump stop on old shocks but I like to pull them down and go for a ride and see where the bump stop ends up, helps to see how much travel you're using.

Alloy-bodied Konis, they were offered for moto-X applications back in the day when the 2-strokes were getting ever quicker.

Seems the preload adjustment is done by inserting spacers. The one pictured here has 2 spacers under the spring.

If the Koni GP shocks are intended for moto-x, then obviously not suitable for the 750.
When I do get round to buying a new pair , which ones are recommended?

I hitched,mainly on old lorries, throughout Turkey year after Midnight Express came out in 1979 and killed the tourist trade dead. Remember Istanbul taxis were all old American cars like in Cuba.    Black Sea coast and  also Cappadocia  were wonderful.

I had this drumming on my Jota years ago and it was the tank hitting the tops of the carbs. I just fitted a 5mm spacer under the rear tank mounting rubbers, problems solved.
