Dutch Lion GT750

A decent GT goes for ? 5000 because nobody wants them. They want an SF, that's where the bling is. A GT is an excellent bike.

As for this one, front brake is off an S, rear light support is off a Ducati. Can't be bothered to detail further.

I have a matching numbers early GT for restoration, missing a few bits. I've been trying to sell it for a couple of years. No one interested.

Mines got the same front brake and I?ve seen factory brochure from ?69 with same .

Prototypes are usually bad examples. For instance the 750S prototype had the early GT front brake.

In case of the GT, many (or most) 1969 bikes had the front brake of the S.

(it still a hugely overpriced dubious restoration. Imagine paying that much and having a rod go through the cases after a few hundred km)

And it has 9,999,999 miles on the clock.

That's a little over 200,000 miles per year.

The owner will be an expert on tyre choice!  :D

Very nice looking.
Later type narrow frame but still with metal shrouded forks, square profile mudguards and yet with 1st series Laverda brakes.
Transitional period, nothing standard yet.

Yes Pat that"s a great  71 GT in Verona, if I didn t have much the same bike, I"d go for that one for sure.Posted up on my 750 Breganze FB group just the other day,
