Dynamo hummmm

I wasn't getting any output from the dynamo on my 750, so have stripped it down for a looksee, everything, bushes etc looks OK but shouldn't something be magnetic in there?

just thought I should ask before I put it back together and test it as per the instructions found in another post.

Well it runs ok as a motor, does this mean it should work the otherway round and do its job?

Seems to me I had to repolarize mine once a few years ago. Been working great since.

well it is humming again after a good clean and a poke with a pair of zircon encrusted tweezers..
