Nice work Ron, you are fortunate to have knees that permit the radical rear-set position, too many broken bones in my history for that setup to work. I have been thinking 'highway pegs and sissy bar of late.
Dave, have you seen that cartoon with the blokes at the door asking for the bloke with the chopped Vincent?

The thing was I was 5'11" 136 Lbs in my 20's. Short torrsel ; with long arms and legs: Built like a Spider.

Granted rear sets placed on the Psgr's peg location for the average built enthusiasts would cause the re-end to Squirrel but NOT for me as it worked in Hi-Spd corners but in sharper corners at say under 70 Mph I kept the Center pegs there to stand and balance my 70 Breganzie 750SF with revs over 7000rpm.

Besides it was really comfortable for me with feet on the rear pegs just loafing around.

It was natural for me to swing my legs from the Rear Peg location to the Center Peg location in an instant when encountering a demanding movement.

I also designed a duel station Brake/Shifter system but found it just as fast to swing my legs to the rear to brake or shift still keeping my center of gravity on the center pegs.

Breganzies allowed you to modify the ride for your riding style where NO other bikes did at the time.

My 70 Breganzie 750 SFO could do 500 miles from Midnight before Dawn with a thunder storm thrown in plus a stop for gas. Say 3 hours, if your LUCKY to reach your destination riding the Northern Ontario Canadian Cambrian Shield.

That's why my 70 Breganzie was a Custom Build by Me.

AND Who in HELL needs a 3/4 fairing on a 750 SF fabricated from a Rickman Yamaha 1000 design additional 2 LBS . - I DID. Kept my Bristol Leathers and Chaps dry - Saved more weight with them Slater Bros 2 into 1 pipes. Shit Soaked Leathers will add 10 lbs and you're NOT Happy.

17 1/2 inches wide at the bars, Powerful head lamps, wind piecer and Radar Stealth ;o)

The SF Super Ferino Drum Brake are the BEST Rain Brake I've ever used and a Hell of a lot better then any Disc Brake in the rain.

Just ensure they are clean, lubed pivitors, clean strong cables and adjusted. Drums will NOT pull you down from Hi-Spd as good as Discs but if Discs are WET you got NO Brakes.

Have to say that SF Front Drum did about throw me over the bars when Germain Shepard Pup ran in front of me at 50mph - You should heard me screaming at that Dog - You just about killed us.

A 70 Breganzie 750SF0 a Tiger by Day or the Night ;o)
