Hi people just a quick note to all....
I am in the process of rewiring my 76 180 3CL which I might add was progressing very smoothly until I came to the indicators and Rev counter illumination lights. As the rubbers were shot I thought I would replace them with a new loom, firstly trying to get a wiring loom, bit of an issue, I would normally head to Canada however Dam racing has a Laverda part number replacement $120.00 Aus, Z1 parts in Melbourne has the same Nippon loom $50.00 (should of gone there but never mined). The problem with the DAM racing loom which drove me to drinking far to much red was a small diode in the black wire to the Indicator light (had to strip the sheath to find this), turning left no problem, turning right the diode obviously would allow feed back to the DX terminals, this needs to be removed and just to add insult to a head ache the high beam light wiring is wrong, cut and join the black wire to earth.
Sorry for the rant but it drove me nuts and I can only say if this helps anyone Yay
