electrical question

been tidying up the wiring on the 82 jots , and found a 25 amp fuse in the positive feed from the regulator to battery red wire ,it doesnt look original is it a good idea to leave it or take it out

If that's the only protection for the R/R, then I'd leave it in.  It would appear that your wiring isn't standard?

its got the fuse box etc ,but someone has used chocky block connectors ,snap on connectors , and insulating tape , so replacing them with japanese type connectors to make life easier
