Just came across these old pics which made me smile and I thought I'd share them with you. They were taken in 2012 during a photo shoot for Classic Bike magazine and the test bike is Craig McWilliams' gorgeous 3CE which Craig had very kindly loaned us for the feature. Photographer Simon Hipperson was always looking for ways to get an unusual shot and on this occasion he persuaded Craig to use his vintage Sunbeam tourer as a camera dolly.
The trick with these photos shoots is always to make 30mph look like 80!

I always loved Jim's closing lines, on his 'Hic, Mine's A Triple' article:
"A great trip with the best people anyone could ask for. Just the luck of the draw I suppose. I wouldn't have missed it for all the Hondas in Japan."
