Can you tell the bike is in bits? 
Anyway, the temperature guage on my RGS does work, but never rises much above 50 degrees C. Could be the wiring (probably not brilliant), could be the guage (probably not fixable) or maybe the sender.
So, is the sender a generic part I could get from my local auto factor if it turns out that's what I need?
