A lot is happening in Mexico. One hell of a 'Hill Climb', 30km, the other 20km.

Looks like a good time, definitely brings back memories of La Carrera.

What a fantastic way to observe good suspension at work - the road looks crap in places but the forks do a very nice job at those insane speeds.

The road surface definitely leaves something to be desired but I reckon the really lunatic Irish road racing mob would be riding in amongst the rocks at the side of road!

Quite so Andy. I did notice the rider not choosing to use a full racing line.

Eric is a very experienced former TT rider but clearly decided this is one place to keep well away from the side of the road, and undoubtedly a very sensible thing to do.

Andy, when Road Racing in Mexico, it is the oncoming traffic you need to watch out for.

Traffic going the same direction as you is not a problem, just look for the turn signal light!

So I have heard from a couple of friends who have raced out there. However, it’s not much different to going for a fast ride over the mountain on open roads.
