Just spotted Goodwood to celebrate Ducati's Centenary at their fest. Am I the only one on this blue orb
who understands those EyeTie craftsmen didn't build anything with wheels in 1926. Sure they built radio
stuff and razors et al but Cucciolo's were way in the distance. Marketing hype...I blame on that artificial
intelligence nonsense. I think Honda may find it's history revised to originating in America at this pace.
 
And Laverda did not produced any motorcycles in 1873. Of course someone can argue that Moto Laverda was found in 1949,
but isn't it that those groups had various corporations anyway, if it made sense in terms of local legislation.

You may not want to look too closely at what manufacturers of cars and bikes got up to before they started producing the vehicles we know and love today.

It wasn't just BSA that built weapons. Probably all bike and car manufacturers that were around during times of conflict would have played key roles in warfare by producing equipment to support their country's war effort. But if we were to hold a grudge against them for that, the world vehicle industry would come to a grinding halt.

Laverda may be one of the few exceptions. I don't think they were ever involved in producing military equipment.

They almost did, but Fiat secured the deal for a military vehicle...
