Executive Handlebars

I know RGS Executive handlebars are unavailable, but Tommaselli makes a high rise clip-on that might be a good substitute. From what I can suss out they're 75mm tall. I was hoping someone with an Executive might measure the rise/height on their bars and report back. Thanks in advance!

Round a bout 60mm.

Thanks hooksey. I remember somewhere coming across a reference of approximately 2.5 inches, which is 63.5mm. The Tommaselli's might be too tall, but might adjust enought to fit with the Executive dash pad.

RGS bars IMHO are way better I am not a fan of the Exec bars oh and then you need to find a pad now don’t you hmmm.
Oh be careful with those Tommaselli ones those suckers can come loose if you not careful.

I have a pad, so that's, ahem, covered. Got the racks for the cases mounted (a surprising pain in the ass; they do not simply bolt up without a bit of finnagling, at least on mine) and I have a set of bat wings, "just" need to get them painted.

Just something I've wanted to do since getting pics from the original owner showing how it looked back in the day after he had it kitted out to Exec specs. It looked fabulous. Won't be quite as brilliant this time around, what with the passage of almost 40 years and 75,000 miles, but looking forward to sharing then and now pics with John once I have it finished.

Murphus, I find the Exec bars on my Corsa are fantastic, great ergonomics and plenty of leverage. Only downside is they push you up in the breeze, but hey, thats what its all about for me........fresh air in the nostrils

I agree with you David, as an older bloke, not as much loading on the wrists and generally a very comfy position.
You do of course need a longer top brake hose - well I did.
Linda reports not as much turbulence as pillion as the lower bars produce.

I have a pair of original Executive bars. (I might fit them on my RGS, when I get old) Please se attached photo regarding the high of the bars.

That's a big help, thanks Preben. If you decide to part with them, let me know. The trick, I think, in fitting anything else is trying to match not only the rise, but the angle of the rise and of the angle of the bars from the rise. It looks like Tommasellis and possibly a few others will work, but I wonder if the clutch and brake masters can be positioned to properly fit the dash pad. Regrettably, I have no welding skills or I'd try and mock up a set.

Had these handlebars fitted at my RGS, for me it is comfortable since I was 50 years old.
You need, if you want a dash pad the bigger one.
