Exhaust stud

Hi, I pulled an exhaust stud, never managed to do that before. Do you just put it back in and hope for the best or do you use some type of high temp Loctite?

If it just came out while un-doing the nut, simply screw it back in as tight as you can, without buggering the thread. Loctite isn't of much use there...

Soak the header nuts in WD40 or similar before loosening in future.

Also a good idea to use a tap to clean out the threads with applying oil as a lubricant
