Came home this evening to find my wife had surprisingly manage to find me a lapel badge to match my original Australian/ New Zealand .. southern Hemisphere market tank badges… don’t know how she did it… these are so rare…

The odd one there is the correct one green on top. I bought one of those lapel badges back in the mid 70's. Only just realised it is upside down too.

Upside down is normal for an Australian.

For an 80/81 it may well be, Rob, the 80/81 long metal badge are wider than the similar profile 3c tanks. j

Oh i see, "restored" long badge, tah Rob. Must admit my previous certain period era, what is correct is less than what it once was. Had to lookup my personal copy of JLO book, conviction is not that it once was. j.

It was a April fool joke.. or not!!! i randomly came across a lapel badge with inverted colours!! mmm re- coloured my tank badges with some left over Humbrol model paint from my dads stuff. quick photo... clean paint off with thinners.. mmm perhaps i can have a wind up here...
