Fire in Walpole

My area is now all clear, but north and north east of me it's still active. There is 1000s of hectares of bush out there and it's as dry as a nuns so could go on for weeks. Winds now north westerly. It could have turned into a fucken nightmare had the conditions not be favorable for Walpole.
Haven't seen any rain in 6 months and the bush is really stressed and dying. Never seen my dam so low and I'm down to my last tank of rain water.
Now have to cut back to 10min showers instead of my usual 15mins!!!

Showers............and you call yourself a bushee;) Good to hear your out of the firing line for now Rob (y)

Hooksey, one of my lives great pleasures is my daily shower. Put alot of time and effort into building my shower.
If I run out of rain water I'll just fill the tanks with beautiful spring fed dam water. The dam is pretty low but it'll never run out sdo water isn't really an issue for me. Have many friends now having to pay to have their tanks filled. Water trucks from Albany isn't cheap!!!
