Fitting new bearings

I'm going to fit new bearings into some RGS wheels later on this week and was planning to use Loctite 641 bearing fit, is this okay or is there something better out there.

The bearing is a slight interference fit in the wheel. There should be no need for 'bearing fit juice', it should be metal to metal only.

Don't use anything, unless the bearing housing is damaged and the bearing loose.
The contrary will just mean next bearing change is more difficult.

Have fitted a few sets of bearings over the years - usually resort to Loctite.  IF the previous owners have shown sympathy and applied heat before whacking the bearings about, then you may be able to avoid the need for it.  However, the rear wheel in particular is likely to require Loctite.  Subsequent bearing removal is aided by heat to reduce its strength, which then renders the whole exercise fairly painless.

Now that you have had yours powder coated, you won't be able to pop the rim on a gas ring when the missus is out.  Or if you do, keep the flame very low and be patient.  The heat gun alternative is extremely tedious....oh, and keep the bearings cold.
