Flasher relay

Could somebody make me a big favour and post a photo how the flasher relay is held on the frame? (The Lucas relay)

The case is an SF3, but I think that the position is the same as the SF2, below the fuse box and the start relay?
Regards and thank you,
Miguel

Hi Marnix!
Ok I understand now... I am missing this holder! I?ll try to do one, unless somebody from the area of Holand is willing to sell one😅
Regards and thank you!

My original one was held in a tidy metal spring clamp from new on my SF2. Replaced decades ago with an electronic one that flashes properly regardless of wattage etc, I used a round rubber holder from some oriental bike.

my SF1, bought new by me and my 1200 TOG bought very nearly new by me, both had round canister type flasher units dangling in a rubber holster.

Very odd. I bet the little hole in the bracket that holds the fuse box or starter relay (or both - can't remember) is there - and that's where the tin bracket (pictured above) bolted on.

I would say it should go in that marked hole?

That would be the one! BTW, where did you get your shiny starter relay? or is it just a dolled-up old one?

I disassembled the original that was in bad condition, and re-galvanized it. I did the same with the regulator (if some day it brakes down I think I will put a modern one inside! it looks too nice!)
