For sale, 1979 Laverda Jota 180

I absolutely love this bike, but being the wrong side of 60 with arthritis i just can't ride the thing without suffering. I have fitted low slim renthal bars which have helped, but still not enough and every time i ride now I just take a different bike.
Its a very original 1979 Laverda Jota 180, just over 19k genuine miles, original orange paint on the panels and original silver paint on the frame, it has a nice light patina and minor marks, I'm very picky and i would give the bike 9.5 / 10 for condition. I have made some minor changes i.e. fitted with bellmouths, low bars etc but i have all the original Laverda standard parts for it and all parts are in lovely condition. This bike was on display for many years before i bought it. I have a detailed wet signed letter from Richard Slater, on original heavy Slater watermarked paper (not a photocopy) giving lots of details i.e. confirmed orange and silver Jota, consignment number, the day it arrived in the country (and where) and also the date of sale (and where) and obviously confirming both engine and frame numbers (obviously matching).

Nice bike, but I think you need to give an indication of the hoped for sale price to garner some genuine interest. You also have to accept that there are a lot of other owners in the same situation as you trying to off load their old, big heavy bikes.

Yes I know I need to be realistic on price and accept I'll be selling at a considerable loss, I'm happy to discuss and agree a price with interested parties via private message...or in person on viewing in North Yorkshire etc...thanks

Thanks all, I don’t mind heavy and old bikes at all, my go to daily is older and certainly heavier than the Jota, I just don’t have the joint issues afterwards.
If it doesn’t sell I’ll either try another bar arrangement or speak to the doc, try upping the medication and carry on riding. The pleasure the Jota gives me prior to the pain kicking in is hard to match !
