For Sale Jota with decent race history but road registered

Hi Folks

I have for sale a 180 Jota which i can never use . I reside in the Philippines and impossible to import it here ...

It has matching frame and engine numbers so a good start

Its currently parked in Middhurst in sussex at Mark Parretts joint Mark is a TT and Manx GP rider. Apart from impossible to import to the Philippines, i bought the bike with great intention of using it when i visited the UK but alas its been 7 years since i was last back there what with work, family commitments and COVID blockade a year or so ago .

Its a well known Jota and raced at many courses in the UK , Holland and others i believe and including the Manx GP in 2011 .

The top end was built by Slick Bass (ex Fogerty mechanic ) for the manx GP ...

its a tasty beast to ride and has IOM registration plates which of course can be transferred ....

keith will tell you the story hes a good man ... he had a bad off at the manx in 2012 i think ?? , on his japper and got pretty bashed up ..i did visit him in Nobles hospital which he has no memory of. so i suggetsed buying it and I bought it ,, He kindly in previous years let me pit crew for him in 2010 or 2011 ???? which became an electrical wiring nightmare to fix with Henk ... been a while and the bike has not used since that time ...
 
Yes I agree Al, it would be good to have it back circulating in the IOM.
And it was 2009 that it was raced in the Post Classic class at the MGP. Keith also rode it at least once one the Billown circuit, probably the preTT Classic event, I need to check the year and event.

Yes that is a possibility… problem then is registering the bike … that is sort of possible but takes a lot of effort and persuasion of the authorities if you get my drift

Are those pictures of the Philipino 180 JOTA guy's LAVERDA? It looks really nice. How much is it?

My View of 180 Wire Wheel TRIPLES is that they are vastly more brutal/beautiful, intense, uncivilized etc than a mere 750 SFC Twin and should be a LOT more financially valuable. I have Slater Tech's 1975 S/N 2500 E, Updated 3C that i will part with when the Market finally agrees w/ my evaluation.
