Nice. My theory (ahem, ahem, cough, cough)* is that 4WD vans are the perfect vehicle.
If you're going to have a vehicle with a wheel at each corner, making it box-shaped will maximise the load-carrying space in between those wheels. And having all wheels driven makes it safer on the road and more capable off road. What more could you possibly want from a car?
